SUMMARY:CONTINUUM BY KERRI WEYMOUTH\, NOEL HICKS & RHONDA MIRANDA
DESCRIPTION:Continuum reflects the connection between the different generations of artist and their artistic journey. Noel Hicks\, Rhonda Miranda and Kerri Weymouth bring their own materials\, lived journey\, and perspective\, yet their works are united by a shared sensitivity to detail\, strength of expression\, and an awareness that making is both an act of holding on and letting go. Grounded in the landscape of the plains where these artists have lived\, grown\, and been shaped\, the exhibition acknowledges how environment has influenced their identity and creative process.\nThrough their creativity they apply oil painting\, textiles\, sculpture and mixed media. The artists explore what endures\, memory\, skill\, emotions resistance. Continuum becomes a space where past\, present and future meet\, revealing creativity as an ingoing rhythm rather than a fixed moment. \nGriffith Regional Art Gallery  \nWednesday – Friday: 10am – 5pm \nSaturday – Sunday: 11am – 2pm

SUMMARY:CITRUS THREADS APERITIVO AT ZECCA
DESCRIPTION:Before the fashion show\, gather at Zecca Handmade Italian for a classic Italian aperitivo. \nAperitivo is the early evening ritual Italians have kept for generations; a drink\, something to eat\, and an hour with friends before the night properly begins. A fitting way to open Citrus Threads\, an event built on the Riverina’s Italian agricultural heritage. \nYour ticket includes a welcome drink on arrival\, an Aperol Spritz\, a glass of Prosecco\, or a non-alcoholic aperitivo\, alongside cicchetti\, a generous selection of classic Italian appetisers and small bites served throughout the event. \nThe full bar is open across the evening\, with Italian wines\, cocktails\, beer and aperitivi available to purchase. \nThis is a stand-up event with limited seating. Guests are encouraged to book early. \nPlease note: the aperitivo is a separate ticket to the Citrus Threads runway show. \nCitrus Threads follows Vintage 2025\, a sold-out runway staged through a working Riverina winery and a finalist at the Ragtrader Australian Fashion Industry Awards. \nCitrus Threads is supported by the NSW Government through Create NSW. \nThis event is proudly supported by Griffith City Council | Visit Griffith. \nAuspiced by Western Riverina Arts. Cultural Partner: Murrumbidgee Irrigation. Major Partners: Visit Griffith\, Griffith City Council\, Coates. Supporting Partners: Essential Energy\, Ashton Taylor. Supporting: TIACS. \nBOOK HERE!!!

SUMMARY:CITRUS THREADS THE RUNWAY
DESCRIPTION:Citrus Threads brings a runway to Memorial Park after dark. \nFour makers show collections created in response to the Riverina citrus industry\, three travelling designers alongside Griffith-based designer Nehma Vitols\, with jewellery from a collaborating maker. The full line-up will be announced in the lead-up to the show. \nComposer Ben Ceccato returns with an original score\, written for the show and performed live. \nLast November\, Nehma Vitols staged a runway that ran through a working winery in the Riverina\, built from the stories of the women who make the wine. It sold out\, and went on to be named a finalist at the Ragtrader Australian Fashion Industry Awards. \nThe citrus industry has shaped this region for over a century; the families who planted it\, the seasons that govern it\, the work that sustains it. Citrus Threads takes that as its material\, and the result is Citrus Threads. \nBefore the show: an Italian aperitivo at Zecca Handmade Italian\, booked separately. \nAfter the show: The stories and selected works will go on display in the free Citrus Threads exhibition at Harvest HQ\, opening Sunday 18 October at 2pm and running until closing night on Friday 23 October. Free entry\, booking recommended. Pay as you go refreshments. \nGood to know \n\nThis is an outdoor evening event; please dress for a spring night\nAll seating is General Admission\, come early to pick your best seat\n\nCitrus Threads is supported by the NSW Government through Create NSW. \nThis event is proudly supported by Griffith City Council | Visit Griffith. \nAuspiced by Western Riverina Arts. Cultural Partner: Murrumbidgee Irrigation. Major Partners: Visit Griffith\, Griffith City Council\, Coates. Supporting Partners: Essential Energy\, Ashton Taylor. Supporting: TIACS. \nBOOK HERE!!!
